The Green River Lady Wolves kicked off the conference season with a win and a loss.
On Thursday the Lady Wolves played its first home game against Evanston Lady Red Devils. Despite having the home-court advantage for their first conference game the girls lost, 42-52.
"As a team, we kind of struggled that night," head coach Rick Carroll said. "We didn't play well as a team."
The Lady Wolves struggled both offensively and defensively against Evanston.
