Kathleen Loraine Robinson

Kathleen Loraine Robinson, 60, of Green River, Wyoming, passed away Nov. 22, 2016 in Salt Lake City. She was a longtime resident of Green River and former resident of Superior.

Robinson was born Sept. 8, 1956 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Milford and Lorain Robinson. She attended schools in Superior and Rock Springs and was a graduate with the class of 1974. She attended the University

of Wyoming and earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1978, then earned her master's degree in elementary education reading in 1982 at the University of Northern Colorado.

Robinson taught second and third grades at Harrison and Jackson Elementary Schools in Green River during her 38-year career.

She was an active member of Harvestime Church in Green River,

and was on the praise team. She enjoyed fellowship and leading Bible

Studies with her church family.

Her heart's desire was to know and serve God. She enjoyed reading,

shopping, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was very involved in her community and dedicated herself to

serving others.

Survivors include her mother Lorain Robinson of Green River; four brothers, Duane Robinson and wife Rachel of Austin, Texas, Milford (Robinson) Muhammad and wife Vernita and Corey Robinson and wife Donna, all of Seattle, Wash., and Brian Robinson and Tonya Diggs of Oxnard, Calif .; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews

and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Milford Robinson, Sr .; one

sister, Christine, one brother, Robert and her maternal and paternal

grandparents.

A celebration of life service to honor Kathy will take place Saturday

at 11 a.m. at the Green River High School Auditorium. Private

family graveside services will follow the celebration of life service
