Betty Domson

Betty Domson, 74, passed away Oct. 28, 2016, at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs.

A lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Domson died following a lengthy illness.  

She was born on June 22, 1942, in Rock Springs, the daughter of Richard Gunyan. and  Audrey Miller.

Domson attended school in Rock Springs and was a graduate of the Rock Springs High School with the class of 1960.

She married Bill Domson Jr. on Dec. 16, 1961, in San Gabriel, Calif.

Domson was a member of the Evangelical Free Church.  

Her interests include, her family especially her grandchildren, camping, motorcycling, bible study, old movies, Stephen King novels, playing Mexican dominos and her cat "Snoopy."

Survivors include her husband, Bill Domson Jr .; two sons, Duane and wife Mary Terese Domson, and Darell Domson, all of Rock Springs; two brothers in law, Larry Dompson and wife Joan of Rock Springs, and Thomas Domson and wife Jolean of Lyman, Neb .; sister in law, Sharon Chalmers of Salt Lake City; three brothers, Richard Gunyan and wife Shirley of Daniel, Roger Gunyan and wife Joann of Rock Springs, Robert Haines of Gillette; and one sister, Cheryl Gunyan of Gillette; three grandchildren, Jason Domson, Brandy Harrison and husband Garrett, and Jeremy Domson and wife Abbie; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law, her mother-in-law, step-father Bill Haines and brother Bill Haines.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday at the Rock Springs Evangelical Free Church in Rock Springs. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to service at the church.
