2 killed in alleged murder

 


Two Sweetwater County men were killed in an alleged double homicide in Gillette and two Gillette residents stand accused of their deaths.

According to the Gillette News-Record, Michael Montano, 37, of Gillette, is accused of killing 33-year-old Philip Brewer and 38-year-old Jody Fortuna, facing two second-degree homicide charges, as well as two charges of mutilation of dead human bodies. His bond was set at $2.5 million cash. Montano’s girlfriend, 22-year-old Kylee Collins, is charged with two counts conspiracy to mutilate a dead human body and accessory after the fact.
