A traffic warning was given for alleged speeding at 200 E. Railroad Avenue.

Officers were dispatched to a fire alarm at 840 Hitching Post Drive, which was determined to be a false alarm.

Animal control officers picked up a cat in a trap on Uinta Drive and the cat was taken to the animal shelter.

Animal control officers received a call of an injured bird in a business at 341 Uinta Drive.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle speeding through a neighborhood on Pennsylvania Boulevard. Officers located the vehicle and contacted the driver who was given a warning.

Officers responded to a residence at 1615 Hitching Post Drive for a report of a two-vehicle collision that occurred earlier at the entrance/exit to Green River High School on Hitching Post Drive. It was reported a vehicle was traveling east towards Hitching Post Drive, when it was struck from behind by another vehicle. Both drivers checked their

vehicles, noticed minor damage and left the area. No injuries were reported and a 16 year-old male, of Green River, was issued a citation for alleged inattentive driving.

Animal control officers are investigating a report of a dog bite on New Mexico Street.

Officers received a call of juveniles standing at an intersection throwing rocks at each other and onto the roadway. The reporting party was worried someone would get hurt or damage property. Officers contacted the juveniles and parents who had their children pick up the rocks in the roadway.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 350 Mansface Street. Officers contacted the involved parties who had a verbal dispute that lead to physical contact. Neither party wanted to pursue charges, officers completed a report regarding the incident, which was forwarded to the Sweetwater County Attorney’s Office.

Officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run vehicle collision at 905 Bridger Drive. It was reported a vehicle backed out of a parking spot, struck the front of a parked and unoccupied vehicle in another parking spot. The vehicle pulled forward, stopped and left a short time later. Officers later located the vehicle whose occupants did not think there was damage to the other vehicle before leaving the parking lot. No injuries were reported. Officers completed a report regarding the incident.

Animal control officers responded to the area of Hoover Drive in reference to a report of two dogs at large. Animal control officers were able to contain the dogs and they were impounded at the Green River animal shelter.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Wilkes Drive. Upon arrival, officers contacted Trajan McQuitty, 24, of Green River, was arrested for alleged public intoxication, second offense. Officers also contacted, Anthony Greene, 21, of Green River, who was also arrested for alleged public intoxication.

Officers served a subject with a summons at East 3rd South.

Officers responded to the area in reference to a report of a nuisance property on Maryland Drive.

Officers served a citizen with a summons on Jensen Street.

Officers responded to the area in reference to a report of a vehicle speeding through the area on Highway 530.

Officers responded to a business at 560 E. Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of a person that could not pay their bill. After paying his bill, Dustin Steele, 32, of West Valley City, Utah, was arrested on a warrant for alleged failure to appear on the original charge of speeding.

Officers observed a brown retriever running at large in the area of West Teton Boulevard and Monroe Avenue. Officers contained the animal which was subsequently impounded at the Green River Animal Shelter.

Officers responded to an address on Riverview Drive in reference to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a responsible party whom mitigated the noise.

Officers responded to the area of West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a report of an abandoned vehicle. Officers tagged the vehicle before leaving the area.

Officers responded to the area in reference to a report of a person that was standing and having a difficult time walking on Hitching Post Drive. Officers contacted the individual and learned they worked for Dish Network, were OK and were just resting.

Officers took a complaint by telephone of an underage driver on East Teton Boulevard.

Officers responded to the police department lobby in reference to an information report. The reporting party had questions regarding theft.

Officers responded to the bus barn in reference to a report of a vehicle passing a school bus on Commerce Drive and Bailey Court.

Officers responded to a report that a vehicle drove through the yard of a residence on East Teton Boulevard to avoid construction on the street. During the investigation of the incident officers contacted Linda Boling, 65, of Green River, who was issued citations for alleged careless driving and malicious mischief.

Officers responded to an address in reference to a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the home owner whom advised everything was OK.

Officers responded to the area of Uinta Drive in reference to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned there was a verbal argument that had subsided before officers arrived on scene.

Erica Vivier, 23, of Rock Springs, was arrested on an arrest-and-hold order.

Officers responded to the area of East 4th South, in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances. The reporting party reported an individual in the area taking photographs of the reporting party’s residence.

Animal control officers met with an individual at the animal shelter that wanted to adopt a cat.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a report of a disturbance. Several subjects in the residence were in a loud, verbal argument. The parties agreed to separate for the remainder of the evening.

Officers responded to an address on Trail Drive in reference to a report of a scam. The reporting party advised they received a phone call from a person telling them their computer had been hacked.

Officers responded to the area of Monroe Avenue in reference to a report of a suspicious person.

Officers responded to the area of Uinta Drive in reference to a report of vandalism. The reporting party advised someone had thrown beer cans at their vehicle. Officers checked the vehicle and did not observe any damage as a result of the flying beer cans.

Officers responded to an address in reference to a report of a runaway. The runaway was later located and returned home.

Officers attempted to serve court paperwork on Conestoga Lane.

Officers contacted an individual following a nuisance property complaint on Maryland Drive. The individual was given a notice to abate a nuisance property.

Animal control officers responded to a call of a found and contained corgi at 325 E. Teton Blvd.

Officers met with an individual regarding a civil matter at 1365 E. Teton Blvd.

Officers responded to a report of two trailers parked blocking an alley on Juniper Street. Officers contacted an individual who advised they would contact the owner of the trailers to have them moved.

Officers were dispatched to an alarm on Hillcrest Way. Upon arrival officers contacted the resident and determined the alarm was accidental.

A traffic citation was issued for alleged cell-phone use on South 2nd East and East 2nd South.

Officers met with an individual who had information, in reference to a juvenile problem.

Officers tagged a vehicle following a report of an abandoned vehicle on Bridger Drive.

Animal control officers are investigating a report of a dog bite on South Wagonwheel Drive.

Officers responded to a noise complaint of loud music in the area of Juniper Street. Officers contacted the individual playing the music, who was advised of the complaint and turned down the music.

Animal control officers received a report of a small white dog at large on Anvil Drive. The owner of the dog was contacted and given a warning.

Officers contacted a resident who stated their child brought home a rodent that was determined to be a baby squirrel.

Officers received a call of two trailers parked that needed to be moved for construction beginning in the area tomorrow on Shoshone Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted the residents who had a verbal dispute.

Officers contacted a resident on Monroe Avenue who reported they noticed a dent on the front fender of their vehicle, which occurred sometime today. The owner of the vehicle did not know where the damage occurred as they had been various places in Rock Springs and Green River before noticing the damage. Officers completed a report regarding the incident.

Officers contacted an individual by phone, who had questions about using airsoft guns in city limits on South Wagonwheel Drive.

Officers responded to a report of found drug paraphernalia on Crossbow Drive. The item was collected and officers completed a report regarding the incident.

Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call. Officers contacted the resident who was OK and reported children at the address were playing with a phone.
