2 Lady Wolves make all-conference

Two Lady Wolves earned all-conference honors at the end of the basketball season.

Taylor Stoeger and Emily White were named all-conference selections last week by the Wyoming High School Activities Association. The WHSAA did not name any of the boys players in their all-conference selection.

Head basketball coach Rick Carroll said White showed great work ethic throughout the summer, working in the weight room and on the court. She averaged 13 points a game for the Lady Wolves and had what Carroll called “a great inside presence.” This was White’s final year with the Lady Wolves.

Carroll said Stoeger was the team’s defensive leader throughout the year and led the state in steals. As the team’s point guard, Carroll said she performed well in handling the ball throughout the season.

“She’s great at taking the ball away,” Carroll said.

Stoeger will have one more season left with the Lady Wolves.

Carroll said he is happy with how well the team worked together throughout the season.

“They played well together,” Carroll said. “They have a good team dynamic.”
