Make something, learn something, and have fun at the Sweetwater County Library's March Mini Workshops.

The March Mini Workshops will take place Saturday at the library, 300 N. 1st East in Green River. The library will be filled with stations where those in attendance can stop, learn and create something new. Those wishing to attend can drop in anytime from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is the fourth year for the March Mini Workshops. The event started in 2013 and has become an annual tradition.

Here's a look at the lineup of workshops:

Altered Books – Learn how to turn old books into something new.

Ballroom Dancing -- Learn the basics of ballroom dancing.

Make Butter – Learn to make butter with the help of a representative from the Sweetwater County Museum.

Decorate Cupcakes – Turn plain cupcakes into rainbow fish, cowboy hats, or polar bear paw prints.

Sachets – Create sachets with Mary Conley from Earthwise Herbal.

Nerd Station – Make buttons and find out about the library system's upcoming WyoCon.

Fiber Crafts – Create a fun craft out of yarn.

Zentangle Coloring – Relax and color a bookmark.

"We're excited to be putting together the workshops again this year," library manager Jacquie Kramer said. "It will be a fun event for the whole family."
