Ann Margaret Bozner

Ann Margaret Bozner, 92, of Boise, Idaho, passed away Feb. 10, 2016.

A longtime resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Winton, Bozner had been in ill health for the past two weeks.

She was born on March 27, 1923 in Raton, N.M. and moved to Winton at the age of six.  She was the daughter of John and Anna Sakulich Jelaco and attended schools in Winton and Reliance.  

On March 1, 1941, she married Alfred R. Bozner, Sr. He preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 2005, after 62 years of marriage. 

Survivors include her sons Al Bozner, Jr. of Mesa, Ariz., and Rich Bozner and wife Candy of Corona, Calif.; daughter Marilyn Battisti and husband Roger of Boise, Idaho.  She is also survived by four grandsons, two granddaughters, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Alfred; two sisters, Mary Jane Yelonek and Katherine Marocki; six brothers, Johnny, Nick, Tony, George, Joe and Mike Jelaco; and one-half sister, Francis Pavlich. 

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at 633 Bridger Avenue in Rock Springs. Interment will be in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
