Christopher L. Hamm

Christopher L. Hamm, 31, of Rock Springs passed away Jan. 27, 2016 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

He was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs.

He was born on May 15, 1984 in Lake Geneva, Wisc., the son of Paul Hamm and Barbie Hennessy.

Hamm was a Rock Springs High School graduate and also attended and graduated from HVAC trade school.

He worked as a maintenance manager for real estate.

His interests were fishing, playing shuffle board, playing horseshoes, helping people and spending time with his Stassinos, Hamm, Webb and all of his other extended families.

He enjoyed attending the Rock Springs High School athletics and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Survivors include his mother Barbie Hennessy of Rock Springs; brother Riley Hamm and wife Lauren of Rock Springs; niece Evelyn Hamm and nephew Greyson Hamm; several aunts, uncles and cousins; all of his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Paul Hamm; his step-father Steve Hennessy; his maternal grandparents Harry and Evelyn Stassinos; paternal grandparents Gov and Sheila Hamm; cousin Travis Tynsky; his uncle Chris Stassinos.

His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys and his family requests that everyone wear their favorite Dallas Cowboys shirt to the funeral.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, at the Episcopal Church of Holy Communion at the corner of Second Street and B Street in Rock Springs. Friends may call at Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk Street in Rock Springs, Thursday from 5-7 p.m. and Friday at the church one hour prior to services.
