The vehicle started to turn and had to stop for a vehicle traveling south on Uinta Drive, when their vehicle was struck by a vehicle behind theirs on East 2nd South Street. No injuries were reported, Thomas Webb, 31, of Green River, was issued a citation for alleged inattentive driving.

Animal control officers received a call of a gray lab with a blue collar and no tags on a porch on Riverview Drive. The dog was picked up and taken to the animal shelter.

No injuries were reported. Jonathan Schultz, 24, of Green River, was issued a citation for alleged inattentive driving.

Officers responded to a parking complaint, regarding a vehicle parked in a handicapped parking space. Officers contacted Casianna Legarreta, 30, of Green River, who was issued a citation for alleged handicapped parking and arrested on an active Green River Municipal Court warrant for alleged failure to appear for a probation revocation hearing on original charges of driving while under suspension, second offense driving while under suspension and contempt of court. Legarreta was also charged with alleged interference of a peace officer. While investigating the incident officers also contacted Barbara McKelvey, 53, of Green River, who was issued a citation for alleged interference with a peace officer.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Officers contacted a 14-year-female who was issued a citation for alleged shoplifting and released to a guardian. Officers also contacted a 13-year-old female who was released to a guardian and advised would be summoned to court. Officers completed a report regarding the incident, which was forwarded to the City of Green River Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers contacted an individual who reported an item they ordered online, showed delivered and they had not received it. It was determined the item was sent to the wrong address and thrown away as the recipient did know where it came from.
