Photographers' work on display

Nature photos dominate this year’s Sweetwater Photography Open Exhibition at the Sweetwater County Library.

The exhibit, which will be on display through the end of February, displays original photos taken by local photographers. The work of five artists is on display, and features everything from animals and Wyoming landscapes to the Boston skyline. Artists were asked to submit entries into the show.

The artists and artwork featured in the show include:

* Mark Horn with photos “Simpson’s Hallow,” and “Church Butte”

* Richard Gilmore with photos the “Blue Birds in Flight,” and “Bambi”

* Micki Gilmore with the photos “New Generation,” “Velvet,” and “Goose Reflection”

* Marni Christensen with two photos “Boston at Night,” and “Hobbs Lake”

* David Von Metz with the photos “Fallen,” and “Santa Fe National Cemetery”

The public is invited to drop by the Sweetwater County Library to see the exhibit during the library’s regular hours. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
