Bryant Smith

Bryant Smith, 20, of Green River, passed away Dec. 11, 2015 at the Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colo., from injuries sustained from an auto accident.

He was employed as a welder's helper laborer for Performance Energy Services.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1995, in Rock Springs, the son of Arron and Delaina Smith.  A graduate of Green River High School in 2013, he was a member of the varsity wrestling team all four years.

His many interests included motocross, bull riding, truck building and mechanics. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed good conversations, the occasional bonfire and being surrounded by family and friends.  There was never a joke he wouldn't tell or a dare to be turned down. He had a strong, kind, loving and generous nature and was always willing to help someone by any means. It was in this spirit that he elected to be an organ donor. He saw the brighter side of every situation and always looked forward to watching the sun rising on a new day of adventure.  

Survivors include his parents, sisters Abigail Smith and Emily Smith of Green River, Autumn Smith of Rock Springs; brother Neil Smith of Green River; several aunts and uncles including Shelley and Robert Smith of Grand Junction, Colo., Tracy and Connie Bernard of Pinedale, Daryl and Michelle Winter of Ammon, Idaho, Cory Bernard and Bridgett of Green River, Birch and Ann Smith, and Bobby Smith, all of Rock Springs, Ron and Tisha Smith of Glenrock; paternal grandparents Ronald G. and Karene Smith of Rock Springs; paternal great-grandmother Melva Smith of Farson; maternal great-grandfather Harry Karician and generations of cousins and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Don and Gaye Winter, Gertrude Winter, Elaine Karician, Jack and Pearl Zimmerman and Dean Bernard and uncle Douglas Bernard.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Tabernacle Church, 1175 Bridger Drive, Green River.

Friends may call at the church on Friday, one hour prior to services.
