Joseph Henry "Bevo" Bertagnolli

Joseph Henry "Bevo" Bertagnolli, 76, of Cora, passed away Nov. 7, 2015 at his home.  A long time resident of Cora and former long time resident of Rock Springs, Bertagnolli passed away following a lengthy illness.

He was born on Aug. 11, 1939 in Rock Springs, the son of the late Edward R. Bertagnolli and Emma J. Katich Bertagnolli.

Bertagnolli attended schools in Rock Springs and was a 1958 graduate of the Rock Springs High School. He also attended the Carbon College in Price, Utah.

He was a United States Army Veteran who served in Germany.

Bertagnolli began his employment at Allied Chemical and later General Chemical on March 3, 1966. He worked there until 1996 and retired as Mine Maintenance Superintendent.

His interests included his family and friends. He enjoyed gatherings, watching sports, and working in his garage. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Mary Bertagnolli of Cora; three sons Victor Bertagnolli of Cora, Bill Bertagnolli and wife Tanya of Evanston, and Joseph Bertagnolli of Rock Springs; one daughter Andrea Bertagnolli and companion Parrish Hankin of Evanston; two brothers Vic Bertagnolli and wife Louise of Boise, Idaho and John Partain and wife Brenda of Rock Springs; one sister Loretta Partain and companion Claude McKee of Nampa, Idaho; sister-in-law Donna Bertagnolli of Rock Springs; grandchildren Tina Bertagnolli, Kyle Bertagnolli and wife Jessica Bertagnolli, Kasey Bertagnolli and wife Tori, Zach Bertagnolli and wife Monique; A.J. Bertagnolli and wife Natalie, Beau Bertagnolli, Karlee Bertagnolli, and three great-grandchildren Chloe, Harper and Nickolas; and special family friend Beth Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother George, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #151, 211 "B" Street, Rock Springs.
