Wolves trample Tigers

Lady Wolf Taylor Stoeger hits the ball over the net against a Rock Springs Lady Tigers player, while the rest of the Lady Wolves watch to see where the ball goes next.

The wolves came out of the gates charging. They dominated the first set, winning 25-7.

"The girls came out and just really focused on not letting the ball hit the floor and hitting really well, and they got a lot of blocks in that first game," coach Rikki Shantz said. "That was really fun to see, watching them play at their highest."

After winning the first game, the girls relaxed, allowing the Tigers to get ahead of them by a few points. The Wolves lost the second game, 21-25. After a win, the girls can't relax at all, Shantz said. It's important to keep the pressure on.
