Wolves football attracts large numbers

Numbers for the Green River High School Football team are larger than in years past, according to head coach Don Maggi.

This year, the football team was able to recruit 59 sophomores through seniors and 28 freshmen into the 2015 team.

“I think we’re off to a good start,” Maggi said.

He said part of the larger recruitment comes from team members recruiting their friends to the team. He believes the other reason for the larger numbers comes from increased student interest.
