Raquel M. Delgadillo, 76, of Rock Springs passed away April 28, 2015, at her home. A resident of Rock Springs for the past eight years and former resident of Leon, Mexico, Delgadillo died following a sudden illness.
She was born on Sept. 29, 1938 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of the late Salvador Munoz and Andrea Padilla Munoz.
Delgadillo attended school in Leon, Mexico.
She married Arturo Delgadillo in Leon, Mexico on Oct. 4, 1959.
Survivors include her husband Arturo Delgadillo of Rock Springs; four sons, Arturo Delgadillo Jr. and wife Maria, Antonio Delgadillo and wife Lourdes, Raul Delgadillo and wife Leticia and Julio Delgadillo and wife Yolanda all of Rock Springs; three daughters, Leticia Delgadillo and husband Jesus Ramirez of Leon, Mexico, Angelica Delgadillo and husband Miguel Padilla and Chuya Delgadillo and husband Juan Ramos all of Rock Springs; two sisters, Angelita Munoz of Leon, Mexico and Abigail Gonzalez and husband Rosendo Gonzalez both of Rock Springs; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers Pedro, Gabriel and Ruben; two sisters Sara and Maria DeJesus.
A Mass of christian burial took place Friday.
