Douglas Paul Osborne

Douglas Paul Osborne, 48, of Rock Springs passed away April 10, 2015 at Intermountain Health Care Center in Murray, Utah, where he had been a patient for one week. 

A long time resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Salt Lake City, Osborne had been in ill health for the past six months.

He was born on Sept. 15, 1966 in Chico, Calif., the son of Charles Leonard Osborne and Margaret Farnworth Osborne.

Osborne attended schools in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

He was employed as an auto mechanic at Rock Springs Auto Repair at the time of his death.

Survivors include his biological father Paul William Stuke of Kuna, Idaho; one son, D.J. Osborne and wife Jessica of Saratoga Springs, Utah; one daughter, Amber Silva and husband Jesse of Green River; one brother, Leonard Osborne of Elko, Nev .; one sister, Annette Magagna and husband Mark of Rock Springs; four grandchildren, Tyson Osborne of Saratoga Springs, Utah; Kaydynce, Gage and Ashlynn Silva, all of Green River; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

His interests included fishing, NASCAR, building and finishing a race car with his son DJ, music, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Leonard Osborne, Margaret Farnworth House and husband Larry House and maternal grandparents Elda Mae and Arthur Farnworth.

Cremation will take place and memorial services took place Monday.
