Leonard Parker Kiehm

Leonard Parker Kiehm, 67, of Rock Springs passed away Jan. 23, 2015 at his home.

 A lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Mr. Kiehm had been in ill health for the past several years.

He was born on Oct.r 12, 1947 in Rock Springs, the son of the late Louis and Helen Kiehm.

Kiehm attended schools in Rock Springs and was a 1966 graduate of Rock Springs High School.

He also attended and graduated from Utah Technical College and received a degree in heavy duty mechanics.

He was employed for many years as a diesel mechanic for Macy's Truck Repair.

His interests included hunting, teaching hunter's safety, sight seeing, making tamales, wood working and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include four daughters JoDee Putnins of Erie, Colo., Laura Kiehm of Westminster, Colo., Michelle DiTullio of Rock Springs, and Cara Harrop of Polson, Mont.; two step-daughters, Mary Stassinos of Rock Springs and Patsy Darwin of Douglas, Ariz.;  three step-sons, John Adams and Bobby Adams both of Gillette, and Jack Adams of Rock Springs; four brothers, Donald Kiehm, Louis Kiehm and Steve Kiehm, all of Rock Springs, and Doug Kiehm of Ellsworth, Maine; one sister, Alicia Jones of Magna, Utah; seven grandchildren, A.J.,  Julie, Madison, Ryan, Christina, Michael and Martin; several step-grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother Rose Keefe and one son.

Cremation will take place and memorial services took place today.
