William "Bill" Thomas Facinelli

William "Bill" Thomas Facinelli, 61, of Rock Springs passed away at home Jan. 8, 2015.  

A lifelong resident of Rock Springs, he passed away following a lengthy illness.

He was born on Sept. 29, 1953 in Rock Springs, the son of William Joseph Facinelli and Barbara Wright.

Bill attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1973.

He worked as a warehouseman for FMC Corporation for 42 years.

His interests included horseshoes, golfing, music, camping and spending time with family and grandchildren. He was a hardcore Wyoming Cowboy fan, Miami Dolphin fan and a fan of Boise State University. He was  also a basketball coach for the Rock Springs Youth Program.

Survivors include his father William Facinelli and step-mother Margene Facinelli of Rock Springs; one son, Brady Seymour and wife Kim of Rock Springs; two daughters, Dana Whalen and husband Dave of Rock Springs, and Lindsey DeJuncker and husband Devin of Boise, Idaho; one brother, Robert W. Facinelli and wife Teresa of Green River; two uncles, Richard Bergandi and James Wright, nephews Shawn Ferguson and Shannon Fisher and many cousins; four grandchildren Jackson and Cole Seymour of Rock Springs and Bailey Snyder and Olivia Whalen, also of Rock Springs.

He was preceded in death by mother Barbara Facinelli, grandparents Joseph and Elsa Facinelli and Henry and Lucy Wright; one sister, Debra Facinelli McGarvey and one sister-in-law, Peggy Facinelli.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday.

The family of William "Bill" Thomas Facinelli respsectfully suggest that donation in his memory be made to the Rock Springs Humane Society, 310 Yellowstone Road, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.
