Milan "Beeky" Pryich

Milan "Beeky" Pryich, 89, died Jan. 9, 2015 at his home in Rock Springs after a lengthy illness.

He was a lifelong Rock Springs resident. 

He was born on Dec. 9, 1925 in Rock Springs to Ilija and Boja Dozet Pryich. He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated in 1944.  

He married Katherine Fanos on June 23, 1963 in Rock Springs. Beeky was owner of the Lou Ben Bakery in downtown Rock Springs and after closing the bakery, he worked for the Wyoming Department of Transportation until his retirement.

He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Odd Fellows, and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

His interests included baking, especially wedding cakes, hunting, fishing and watching western movies on television.

He is survived by a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ilija and Boja Dozet Pryich; wife, Katherine Pryich; sisters, Smilga Pryich, Daisy MacPheators, Helen Matozevich, Sophie Lemich, and Patsy Dowdy; brothers, George 'Judy' Pryich; Mike 'Brink' Pryich; Alex "Fatty" Pryich; Dr. William V. "Ludy" Pryich; Kathy Lee Dalton, a niece; and James MacPheators, a nephew; and friend, Reverend Father Lukas Kotzakis; and two sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law.

Funeral services took place today.
