University president outlines initiatives

Work includes energy research

University of Wyoming President Richard McGinity said the university is working to help the energy industry in Sweetwater County, as well as the rest of the state.

McGinity visited Sweetwater County last week as part of a industry facilities tour.

"Energy is hugely important to the state; it's hugely important to the university," McGinity said.
