    The Green River High School wrestling team faced a tough weekend of competition, which included a JV duel and two tournaments.     The Lady Wolves had the home-court advantage this weekend during the Flaming Gorge Classic and they made the best of it. The Green River Lady Wolves played four games.     The Green River High School boys basketball team continue their undefeated streak after competing in the Flaming Gorge Classic over the weekend. The team competed in three days of basketball action, taking on Westside High School from Dayton, Idaho, Thunder Basin High School from Gillette and Rawlins High School.   • Kemmerer poacher prosecuted

    A tip from a concerned sportsman resulted in a Kemmerer resident being caught in a 2016 deer poaching case. Kemmerer Game Warden Chris Baird and other area game wardens have been investigating the case since October 2016. Baird said this case would not have been made without someone reporting their information. Game wardens investigated a report of a deer shot and left in the Elk Mountain area, near Kemmerer. Investigation and interviews revealed that the suspect, Dexter Biebinger of Kemmerer, had killed a two-point mule deer buck. The hunt are...
