    Truman Elementary School students were busy learning about symmetry and image reflection during art class this week. On Tuesday morning, second-grade students were learning how to look for symmetry. They then worked on the first half of their reflection drawings. She was a resident of Green River for more than 54 years and was a former resident of Thermopolis and Sheridan. Beard was born June 27, 1937, in Sheridan, the daughter of Orville Marquess and Emma Mueller. She attended schools in Sheridan and was a graduate of the Sheridan High School.     Two more swimmers qualified for state this weekend during the Lyman and Green River meets. The Green River High School swimming and diving team, added Miles Moffat to the state qualifying list in diving, while Logan Johnson qualified in the 100 breaststroke.     Starting Feb. 1, the Rock Springs-Sweetwater County will no longer be the name of the local airport. From that date on, it will be known as the Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport. The chamber started publishing advertisements this week for the position, which was vacated after the chamber’s executive board released former CEO Irene Parsons prior to the chamber’s week-long break Dec. 20.
