Green River Police Department reports for Jan. 23

At 8:27 a.m., officers responded to Expedition Academy for a report of a positive vape alert. Subsequently, officers issued a citation for alleged use or possession of tobacco by minor and completed an incident report. 

At 8:59 a.m., officers responded to Lincoln Middle School for a report of a juvenile in possession of a vaping device. Subsequently, officers issued a citation for alleged use or possession of tobacco by minor and completed an incident report. 

At 9:31 a.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense. 

At 2:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny. 

At 3:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing. 

At 8:33 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speeding. 

At 10:59 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speeding.

Jan. 24

At 5:19 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged headlights - one on each side violation. 

At 6:14 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a citation to Bryan Sutphen for an alleged obedience to traffic control device violation.

At 7:34 a.m., officers issued a warning for an alleged accident. 

At 3:48 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense. 

At 8:37 p.m., officers responded to a report of an animal bite. 

At 8:58 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a citation to Dillon Thomas for an alleged compulsory auto insurance violation - first offense and issued a warning for an alleged valid certificate of title violation.

At 9:01 p.m., officers responded to Loaf N Jug at 895 Uinta Drive for a disturbance report. Officers met with the parties involved and subsequently issued a citation and arrested Thomas Madura, of Green River, for alleged public intoxication. Officers transported Madura to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report. 

At 11:59 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speed. 

Jan. 25 

At 7:38 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speed.

At 8:04 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued warnings for an alleged obedience to traffic control device violation, an alleged turn signals required violation, and alleged speeding. 

At 10:58 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged compulsory auto insurance violation - first offense, an alleged stop sign violation, and an alleged valid certificate of title violation.

At 11:39 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged expired temporary license permit/improper registration.

At 1:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.

At 3:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of a subject removal.

At 3:42 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.

At 5:38 p.m., officers responded to a report of a missing person.

At 8:06 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with an active arrest and hold order. Officers placed Tina Waugh, of Rock Springs, under arrest. Officers transported Waugh to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

At 10:33 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged headlights: motor vehicle violation and a citation for an alleged valid certificate of title violation.

At 11:37 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence.

Jan. 26

At 7:56 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speeding.

At 8:24 a.m., officers responded to the GRHS for a report of possible students in possession of a suspected THC vaping device. Officers subsequently issued a citation for alleged paraphernalia (possession with intent to use) and completed an incident report. 

At 8:38 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a citation to Melissa Harper for alleged speeding in a school zone.

At 9:18 a.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers placed Edana Jakubowski, of Green River, under arrest. Jakubowski was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and officers completed an incident report. 

At 10:49 a.m., officers responded to a report of a scam.

At 12:36 p.m., officers responded to the GRHS for a report of two students in possession of vaping devices. Subsequently, officers issued citations for alleged possession of marijuana - liquid form and second offense - use/possession of tobacco by a minor, and completed an incident report. 

At 1:41 p.m., officers responded to a call for threats. As a precaution the schools were put into secure mode. Officers contacted the individuals involved and later determined there was no active threat. The call was unfounded.

At 1:47 p.m., officers responded to Probation and Parole located at 140 Commerce Drive in reference to an arrest and hold order. Jose Garcia, of Green River, was arrested and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

At 3:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.

At 6:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of a runaway.

At 8:32 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

Jan. 27 

At 2:22 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speeding.

At 2:43 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speeding.

At 7:32 a.m., officers responded to a report of a burglary. Officers gathered information and canvassed the area. During the course of the investigation, officers met with an individual who was in violation of their probation. Officers subsequently arrested Bryce Archibald, of Green River, transported Archibald to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, and completed an incident report. 

At 8:56 a.m., officers responded to a report of a subject removal.

At 11:02 a.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers placed Angela White, of Green River, under arrest. Officers transported White to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 3:54 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence.

At 4:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a citation to Jacob Christoffersen for alleged speeding.

At 10:02 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.

At 11:20 p.m., officers issued a citation for an alleged youthful offender DWUI.

At 11:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

At 11:48 p.m., officers issued a citation for an alleged compulsory auto insurance violation - first offense.
