Tony Saulo "Little Tony" Trujillo

Tony Saulo "Little Tony" Trujillo, 52, of Rock Springs, passed away June 11, 2015 at his home.A longtime resident of Rock Springs, Trujillo died following an eight-year illness.

He was born on May 30, 1963 in Rock Springs, the son of Tony J. and Lillian Lucero Trujillo.

Trujillo attended schools in Rock Springs and obtained his GED and later attended Western Wyoming Community College.

He was a self-employed landscaper and also the grounds keeper for the Rock Springs Worship Center.

Trujillo was a devout member of the Rock Springs Worship Center.

He was interested in boxing and was a five-time Golden Gloves regional champion. He played tennis and was a creative artist.

He played baseball and softball and played with Babe Ruth Baseball, city men's softball league and co-ed church league.

Survivors include his parents Tony J. and Lillian Trujillo of Rock Springs; son Anthony Trujillo IV of Fresno, Calif .; four brothers, Dan R. Trujillo, John J. Trujillo and Teno J. Trujillo and wife Amanda, all of Rock Springs, and Reuben C. Trujillo and wife Julie of Atlanta; sister Tina L. Preuit and husband Kelly of Rock Springs; aunts and uncles Bob Trujillo, Eddie Trujillo and wife Penny, Don Cox and wife Marina, Martha Gindt, Margaret Anne Reed and husband Jim, Lucille Murphy, William Trujillo, Bertha Flannighan, David Trujillo, Frank Trujillo, Bonnie Winner and husband Don, Gilbert Lucero and wife Lilly, Jane Seeland and husband Tom, Joe Joe Lucero and wife Sue, Bert Lucero, Eva Bluemel and husband Dick, Lorraine Thayler and husband Pat, Michael Lucero; more than 120 first cousins and more than 60 second cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Tony M. and Lucy Trujillo and Joe C. and Faye Lucero; his uncle Don Murphy; and cousin Gary Gomez.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, at the Rock Springs Worship Center at 3317 Dewar Drive in Rock Springs. Pastor Arlen Hughes and Pastor Tony J. Trujillo will conduct the services.
