Christian Anthony "Tony" Riegger, III

Christian Anthony "Tony" Riegger, III, 67, of Green River, passed away June 9, 2015 at his home in Green River. A longtime resident of Green River and former resident of Utah, Riegger passed away following a brief illness.

He was born on Oct. 9, 1947 in Baltimore, the son of the late Christian A. Riegger and Raye A. Gavin.

Riegger attended schools in Holiday, Utah and graduated from Olympus High School with the class of 1964.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict from April 13, 1966 to April 19, 1969.

Riegger was the owner and operator of R & B Controls. His interests included fishing, boating, hunting, gambling, traveling and enjoyed parties.

Survivors include his son Christian A. Riegger, IV, of Salt Lake City; daughter Sheila Kirkpatrick of Castlerock, Colo .; two brothers, Ronald C. Riegger and wife Brandy of Carson City, Nev. and Bryan R. Riegger; sister Aunda Ellen Madsen of Taylorsville, Utah; companion Lola Gebhardt of Rock Springs; four grandchildren Brianna, Barrett and Holly Kirkpatrick and Christian A. Riegger V. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, at Vase Flaming Gorge Chapel at 263 East Flaming Gorge Way in Green River. Military honors and interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vase Chapel on Friday, one hour prior to services.
