Middle school swimmers off to great start

Seventy-five come out for team

It’s been a great start to the season for the Green River Middle School swim team.

According to coach Michele O’Melia, the girls are focusing on team commitment and having fun.

She said there are 75 girls out for this year’s team and many of them have dropped their times.

O’Melia added that they won the Jackson Invite Nov. 8, and it was the first time they have done that in several years.

Green River won the meet with 297 points. Jackson was second with 219 points, Lyman was third, Evanston-Davis was fourth, Pinedale finished fifth, Kemmerer was sixth and Big Piney finished in seven...
